I waited for ages, like a child left in the car while mum goes shopping. It was raining and so I couldn't see much through the window, the music on the radio was dreary, the car had just been cleaned and there was nothing inside to keep me occupied but my camera. As I pulled focus onto the windscreen the rain drops crystallized into sharpness. The world was upside down in each of those drops. There she was, wet and thankful for the warm, dry ride.
